The story of
The closer we get to God, the more we hear His heart, His will and His immense love for His children. And when we listen to, and strengthen our hearing to that still small voice, we may be surprised by what we hear. This is how the idea By Faith Ministries 11:One began. An idea that was planted, in a year that was full of hope, while simultaneously crushing me in every way. Can you relate? But this is where God speaks the loudest at times - when He has our FULL reliance and attention!
This little seed of an idea was planted in 2015 while reading Proverbs 1:20-21. To help encourage others of Gods Wisdom and the freedom and victory we can see in life despite the hardest of circumstances. Once you feel the freedom of Jesus, you want EVERYONE to experience the same! And with these simple words,
“Wisdom calls aloud in the street, she raises her voice in the public squares; at the head of the noisy streets she cries out, in the gateways of the city she makes he speech…”

with chills and butterflies, I felt deep within the depths of my soul and spirit that this was in fact a personal call from God for my life. One that I might honestly add - I doubted very strongly at the time!
Being an introvert and feeling slightly (extremely) nauseous at the idea of teaching and speaking in front of others at the time- I knew the idea sure wasn’t my own! I hadn’t yet regained my own voice from the storm I was currently in, but God wanted the idea to be planted way back then, in order to cultivate it, in very specific ways over the years, and turn it into what it is today.
As God started teaching me how to hear His voice and direction, through many different ways, including numbers back in 2011 (check out the Blog for more on this fabulously life changing subject!) his communications and confirmations from Hebrews 11:1 became a life verse of God’s promises and fulfillment over so many different things in my life:
“Now FAITH is confidence of what we hope for, and assurance about what we do not see.”
Hebrews 11:1 NIV
Over the past years, months, and days, this growth process has been refining my heart - and will continue to do so.

By FAITH we will focus on the Biblical Wisdom of God and His voice, as He ministers to us and others in life changing ways only He knows and has planned.
